MAKE YOUR CHRISTMAS GO WITH A BANG

Winner Best Shooting Ground 2010 at the Shooting Industry Awards

What swung it in the end was the wonderful, friendly, atmosphere that exists at this increasingly popular destination where, as one judge put it: Every trip there is a pure pleasure.

With Experience days fast becoming one of The Christmas presents, heres an experience that provides a much needed dose of adrenalin plus some fresh air, after the TV sofa has seen enough of you.

Run by Huw Stephens, Barbury Shooting School near Marlborough (just off Junction 15 of the M4), and winner of this years BEST SHOOTING GROUND, is offering a Christmas Experience Voucher for a Clay Pigeon Lesson at their School which only requires you to turn up sober and attentive!

Clay Pigeon Shooting is one of the fastest growing sports in Britain and Barbury are offering three Christmas gift vouchers ranging from a 25 Have a Go voucher to 99.99 for a Clay Shooting Lesson and the brilliant Shooting from Scratch DVD starring Zoe Salmon and Iwan Thomas.

The three vouchers include the use of a shotgun, full safety instruction and tutelage, all the clays youll be shattering and of course the cartridges youll be firing. Vouchers can be purchased direct from Barbury Shooting School (www.barburyshootingschool.com): for those aged 10 to students at a cost of 69.99 and for Adults at 99.99. (As our brilliant Commonwealth Games Shooting Team more than demonstrated, Adults does include Ladies!)

The voucher and DVD will be sent upon receipt of order in time for Christmas Day and then its just a question of calling anytime during the year to book Mum, Dad or your best mates lesson.

With Barbury Shooting School open every day over the Christmas Holiday, except Christmas Day, there are plenty of opportunities to avoid the Boxing Day sales rush by spending a great day in the country, learning a new sport and relaxing in the warm, chalet-like atmosphere of the Barbury Shooting School Club House.
