Two local mums from Poole are celebrating after reaching the finals of the UK’s biggest blog awards, the MAD Blog Awards.

Anna Cribb and Katy Pullinger who create the blog Hey Mummy, are one of just six finalists in the Best Use of Video category of the Mum and Dad Blog Awards, beating more than 7,000 other blogs nominated in the awards.

Hey Mummy shares the experiences of Katy and her 2 daughters and Anna and her 3 sons, along with product reviews, competitions and commentary on parenting issues.

Katy & Anna said: “We started our Video Blog (Vlog) only a year and half ago. It’s fantastic to know people enjoy watching our videos and hearing about our experiences, ‘vlogging’ is a fantastic way to connect with other parents. We are so happy people nominated our blog, and it’s such a great honour to have reached the finals of the awards.”

You can follow Hey Mummy at and have until May 27 to vote for their favourite blogs in 14 categories at the Tots100 MAD Awards website.

The award winners will be revealed at a gala awards ceremony at the Royal Garden Hotel in London on September 16.
