Dorset Food and Drink and Tracey Collins from Ajar Of are launching a charity calendar highlighting the fabulous food and drink scene in Dorset, with particular emphasis on the dynamic women who front these foodie businesses!

To reflect the Dorset theme, the two charities being supported are both locally based: Julia’s House for Children and Weldmar Hospicecare Trust for Adults.

The idea was first floated at foodie event Fish and Ships 2014 and was embraced wholeheartedly by Katharine Wright from Dorset Food and Drink, the trade promotion body set up by Dorset AONB.

Lara Jane Photography, talented designer Colin from Vertiworks, David from Blackmore Vale printing, Sophie from PR in the Bag and Denmaur Independent Papers all offered their services at cost or free, thus making the charity calendar viable.

The aim is to raise £8,000 for the two charities whilst promoting local food producing ladies!
