Following the successful visit by Bill Paterson, Wessex Dress Circle return to The Exchange on Friday 4th June with Crocodiles in Cream, the jewel in the crown of Kevin Moore's stage and screen resum. Written, devised and directed by David Horlock, it is a moving and compelling one-man-show portraying Lewis Carroll and drawing from his diaries, letters, poems and stories. Come and enter the half-dream, half-reality world of this complex many-sided figure: mathematician, logician, photographer, poet and story-teller. Tickets 10, 8 concessions.

Keeping with the Lewis Carroll theme, The Exchange Cinema will be showing Tim Burtons Alice in Wonderland on Saturday 5th June at 3pm. Alice, now 19 years old, returns to the whimsical world she first entered as a child and embarks on a journey to discover her true destiny. This Wonderland is a world beyond your imagination and unlike anything you've seen before. The extraordinary characters you've loved come to life richer and more colourful than ever. There's a Mad Hatter (Johnny Depp), the White Queen (Anne Hathaway), the Red Queen (Helena Bonham Carter), the White Rabbit (Michael Sheen) and more. Tickets 5, 3 U16s.

Keep your eyes peeled and your ear to the ground for news of the next band to take to our Jazz stage on Thursday 17th June. As usual you require no ticket, entry is just 6 on the door.

In the short time they have been playing, The Shadowers have already made a name for themselves as one of the leading Shadows tribute bands around today. They headlined a national event held in aid of Children in Need in 2009 and the group were invited to play at the prestigious "Pipeline" instrumental convention and also the international Cliff Richard and the Shadows Fan Meeting in Tilburg, Holland. Ex-Shadow Brian 'Licorice' Locking will join the band in concert on 24th June. Tickets 11.

Looking ahead we are also excited to see the return of the New Rope String Band and to be welcoming fifteen piece festival band The Destroyers to our stage. Our childrens programme is now available for the summer and The Exchange Wedding Fair will see Autumn in in style. With so much going on its just not possible to tell you everything so log on the the website, join us on Facebook and pop in and pick up your Whats On Guide to make sure you are up to date with all thats happening. The Box Office is open from 9:00am so drop in or give us a call. We look forward to seeing you soon!
