Sailtime Europe Expands it's Team, Poole, Dorset - Advertisement Feature

SailTime is pleased to announce new personnel joining its teams at three locations. Five new employees have been recruited, with three joining the company's <br/><br/>headquarters in Poole, Dorset.

SailTime is pleased to announce new personnel joining its teams at three locations in
the UK. Five new employees have been recruited, with three joining the companys
headquarters in Poole, Dorset, as well as new employees at SailTimes bases in
Poole and Hamble.


Lucie Goodwin takes up the role of Marketing Manager for SailTime Europe, Lucie
has previous experience in the leisure marine industry working for marketing and PR
agencies. Lucie will be managing SailTime Europes marketing campaigns through
traditional and digital marketing, and will be handling all aspects of advertising,
marketing around shows and events, direct mail and social media.


Alex Ross has been appointed as I.T. and Website Administrator for SailTime
Europe. Alex, who completed a degree in Forensic Computing from the University of
the West of England earlier this year, will manage SailTimes internal network of
Apple Mac computers and also develop SailTimes website, including the companys
internal and external newsletter.



Julie Finch has been employed as Accounts Manager for SailTime Europe. Julie has
a wealth of experience in office management and accountancy from previous posts,
which includes the Royal Bournemouth Hospital. Julie will be managing SailTime
Europes invoicing, payments and membership contracts as well as administration
duties.


SailTime Poole has also taken on Emma Jenkinson in a Member Relations role; this
will involve managing communications with all members who use the Poole base as
well as any visiting members from other SailTime bases, both in the UK and
overseas. Emma has previous customer relations experience having worked for the
RNLI Lifeboat College and Rockley Watersports while completing her university
degree in Tourism Management at Bournemouth University.


SailTime has also appointed a new Maintenance Manager at its new base in Hamble
Point Marina. Mike Collier, who has a wealth of experience will oversee the upkeep
and manage the general maintenance of the fleet of boats kept at Hamble Point
Marina. A keen sailor, with over 80,000 nautical miles onboard boats, Mike has
sailed all over the world and his experience includes seven Atlantic crossings and
sailing in the Caribbean. Past employers include Clipper Ventures, OnDeck Charters
and Artemis Ocean Racing. Mike is also a fully qualified Ocean Yachtmaster.


John Bostock, SailTime Europe Managing Director, said, SailTime is expanding
rapidly on several levels, and individual bases around the UK are seeing an increase
in members which means those bases need additional resources. SailTime Europe is
also expanding and this has led to us needing to increase the team at our European
head office. Each candidate has been chosen to fit well into our existing team, and to
bring a wealth of experience from different sectors. With our increased team and new
bases, SailTime is able to offer a service to its members that can not be matched
anywhere else in the UK or abroad.



SailTime is a boating membership company with bases throughout the UK, Europe
and Worldwide.

The monthly Membership fee for a Bnteau Ocanis 323 starts from 399 including
VAT. There are no other costs for Members -SailTime pays for all the marina fees,
maintenance, insurance and running costs. (Power boaters pay for their own fuel.)

SailTime members can utilise other SailTime bases in the USA, Caribbean &
Netherlands.

Members are required to join for an initial 12 months, then renew for the following
years if they so choose.

SailTime Members check on and off the yachts using the SailTime E-ttendant, a
handheld PDA which guides them through a series of safety & equipment checks.

Members pay a 1,750 induction and training fee for a two-day course which includes
use of the online calendar and E-ttendant, training on the specific yacht; navigation,
electronics and general layout of the boat, and orientation day-sail.
