Volunteers needed for Wimborne Model Town

Dorset’s vintage charity attraction, Wimborne Model Town, seeks additional weekend volunteers to assist with the shop and visitor admissions when it reopens for the new season on 28 March.

“The 1950s model buildings are popular with younger families and older groups and we want to give them all a warm welcome ” says new manager Greg Hoar who can be contacted for further details on 01202 881924.



Unusual tree comes into flower in Wimborne - A rather unusual tree has just come into flower in Wimborne’s Knoll Gardens heralding the spring with its delicate scent and a mass of velvety cream flowers.
