All the proceeds from the day will be donated to Bournemouth Hospital Diabetes and Endocrine Centre and JDRF. www.jdrf.org.uktowards medical research into finding a cure for diabetes.
Type 1 diabetes is caused by the immune system attacking the insulin-producing cells of the pancreas, meaning that the body cannot regulate blood-glucose levels on its own.
We are also launching our brand new Pop 4 Diabetes single which has been written especially for us by Brit award producer Simon Ellis.
The track is Shane Board's message from the heart for anyone struggling to come to terms with being diagnosed with Diabetes or any other condition and it will relate to so many people and hopefully help them realise that whatever life throws at you,you should never give up or let it hold you back from what you want to do.
Shane Board is the inspiration behind Pop 4 Diabetes and despite being diagnosed with type one at the age of ten he has dedicated his life to fundraising to find a cure for Diabetes and uses his own experiences from the past twelve years to help other people to come to terms with it.
The new single. YOUR DAY WILL COME, will be released on 20th June and all proceeds will go to JDRF (juvenile diabetes research foundation)
Sony have agreed to manufacture and produce the physical copies of the CD and will send them to Universal who will distribute and will be available worldwide on all the main digital download sites.
