Eating In is full of easy to follow recipes that make eating at home relaxed and informal, with a particular emphasis on cooking from local ingredients.

Whether it is a cheap midweek meal, an anniversary dinner, a family picnic, a Book Club supper or Christmas Eve Drinks with the neighbours, Sue shares over 100 new and favourite recipes for eating at home or outdoors. There are as well inspirational ideas for seasonal festivities including Easter, Halloween, Hogmanay and Burns Night.

Mouth-watering recipes include: warm chocolate, shortbread and pistachio mousse cake; hot smoked salmon tart with rocket and crme fraiche; slow roast lamb with chermoula; strawberry and red wine risotto; banana and lime ice-cream with chocolate sauce and venison chilli.

Sues Scottish roots are evident throughout the book where she adds a modern twist to some classically traditional and much loved Scottish recipes such as Cullen Skink Pie and Parten Bree risotto. And of course there is plenty of Sues signature baking including: a great big fudgy chocolate cake; cranberry, coconut and seed oaty flapjacks; treacle tart bars and carrot cake cup cakes.
