Sue Lawrence is an award winning cook and food writer, including winner of Masterchef in 1991 and Regional Writer Glenfiddich Food and Drink Award in 2003. She was the President of the Guild of Food Writers from 2004 to 2007. She wrote a regular column for Scotland on Sunday, was the Sunday Times food columnist,and also appears regularly on radio and television. Sue is a regularcookery presenter on STVs hugely popularprogramme The Hour.
Sue is the author ofeleven cook books, including the award-winning SCOTS COOKING (Headline, 2000) and BOOK OF BAKING (Headline, 2004), as well as her most recent TASTE YE BACK: Great Scots and the Food that Made Them (2009), in which she talked to over 70 well-known Scots about the recipes that most reminded them of their childhood.
