Dorset Magazine Food, Drink & Farming Awards 2015 - finalists

These prestigious awards celebrate the county’s top notch food and drink producers and businesses, and we’re proud to announce this year’s finalists nominated by you

Thank you to all our readers who took the time to nominate their Dorset food heroes in this year’s Dorset Magazine Food, Drink and Farming awards. The categories you nominated them in included food and drink producer, pubs, restaurants, tea rooms and coffee shops, chefs, butchers, independent food shops, farmers’ markets, Sunday roast, family dining, newcomer and food & farming hero of the year.

We had well over 1,200 entries online and by post for these prestigious awards. When making our short list we looked for the quality of the nominations in addition to the quantity, and we deliberated hard over the entries and how they fitted the criteria for each category.

Our finalists will now be invited to a glittering awards ceremony and dinner taking place on 24 September at Lulworth Castle where the winners in each category will be revealed by our compère Valerie Singleton. Congratulations to all our finalists and good luck!
