Customer Service Award

Customer Service Award

For this award, our judges went in search of service with a smile

Our second award of the evening was the Customer Service Award, kindly sponsored by Beales Gourmet. Nothing makes a business stand out more than excellent customer service, no matter the size of the company. It could be a maitre d', a hotelier or the person serving behind the cheese counter at the deli. If he or she always greets you with a smile and knows exactly what you want before you do, then these were the businesses we were looking for.

This year's finalist is…

The Little Teapot, Poole - A small and quaint seaside English tea room, situated in the old High Street end of Poole , just a few yards from Poole Quay. Cakes are made on the premises, sandwiches are made to order and a warm welcome always awaits visitors to The Little Teapot.

And this year's winners are…

Steeptonbill Farm Shop near Milton Abbas - a wonderful community farm shop, offering a lovely array of Dorset-made produce from the farm itself and from some great local producers.

Truly's of Westbourne - With newly created menus every month, packed full of local and seasonal produce, Truly's offer laid back fine dining at its best.

The judges of this category felt that both deserved to win, so the decision was made to award both with the accolade this year.

A huge congratulations to our winners and our finalist. Thank you to the public for their many nominations, and to our well-respected judges who picked our worthy winners of the 'Customer Service Award,' sponsored by Beales Gourmet.
