On 19th June, Pop 4 Diabetes presents a family fun day and summer spectacular stageshow at the Lighthouse, Poole, combined with a exhibition from a number of medical companies associated with diabetes and insulin pumps.

This is a great chance for anyone affected by diabetes to come along and see what is offer and learn more about insulin pump therapy with lots of fun and games and stalls for the whole family.

The funday runs from 2pm till 6pm and is free entry to everyone.

The evening show starts at 7pm and is a line up from some of the best local acts in Dorset as well as A headline performance from the first ever X factor winner Steve Brookstein and also Britain's got talent finalists Twist and Pulse and we could have a few surprises !

This is taking place at The Lighthouse theatre in Poole Dorset, and tickets for the evening show are on sale now at the box office.

All the proceeds from the day will be donated to Bournemouth Hospital Diabetes and Endocrine Centre and JDRF. medical research into finding a cure for diabetes.

Type 1 diabetes is caused by the immune system attacking the insulin-producing cells of the pancreas, meaning that the body cannot regulate blood-glucose levels on its own.

We are also launching our brand new Pop 4 Diabetes single which has been written especially for us by Brit award producer Simon Ellis.

The track is Shane Board's message from the heart for anyone struggling to come to terms with being diagnosed with Diabetes or any other condition and it will relate to so many people and hopefully help them realise that whatever life throws at you,you should never give up or let it hold you back from what you want to do.

Shane Board is the inspiration behind Pop 4 Diabetes and despite being diagnosed with type one at the age of ten he has dedicated his life to fundraising to find a cure for Diabetes and uses his own experiences from the past twelve years to help other people to come to terms with it.

The new single. YOUR DAY WILL COME, will be released on 20th June and all proceeds will go to JDRF (juvenile diabetes research foundation)

Sony have agreed to manufacture and produce the physical copies of the CD and will send them to Universal who will distribute and will be available worldwide on all the main digital download sites.

Anyone interested in having a stall on the day please email places are limited so first come first served .
