George Alagiahs lecture, Food for Thought will be based on a series of documentaries he filmed last year for the BBC looking at the global food chain.


Thursday 10th February Mercers Concert - The Maggini Quartet

One of UKs leading string quartets, plays a programme which includes quartets by Beethoven, Mendelssohn and Elgar.

Friday 25th March - Baroness DSouza How to reform the House of Lords

Baroness D'Souza has an academic background in anthropology and taught at both the London School of Economics and Oxford Brookes University. She is a Governor of the Westminster Foundation for Democracy and Trustee of many organisations concerned with human rights and development.
