A Veritable Feast of Tempting Events at Howard's House Hotel!

On January 29th and 30th Howard's House opened its season of cultural events in style, with an Antiques weekend featuring special guest John Bly of the Antiques Roadshow. The weekend was thoroughly enjoyed by all, and the Howard's House team

On January 29th and 30th Howards House opened its season of cultural events in style, with an Antiques weekend featuring special guest John Bly of the Antiques Roadshow. The weekend was thoroughly enjoyed by all, and the Howards House team now look forward to an exciting programme ahead, featuring a range of themes to suit all tastes.


Each event will be celebrated with a specially designed menu to suit the occasion, presented by Head Chef Nick Wentworth.


Upcoming Events are as follows:


11- 14th February: Valentines Weekend


Very well-placed for this particular celebration, with the Cesar award for Britains Most Romantic Hotel 2010, Howards House is offering a six-course tasting menu with champagne and canaps at 75 per person, available for lunch and dinner throughout the weekend. In addition we have a 2 night package including champagne, chocolates and flowers in the room, at 550 per couple.

22nd February: Literary Night with Jason Page


Successful children's author Jason Page will be presenting an interesting and entertaining talk, 'How to get Yourself Published'. With a huge and varied knowledge of the publishing industry, he offers a fascinating insight into the world of authors. The drinks reception will be followed by a special six-coursetasting menuat 50 per person, with accompanying wines.


3rd March: An Evening of Fine Wines with Michael Altur


Special guest Michael Altur of Yapp Brothers will be hosting a wonderful dinner accompanied by carefully selected fine wines. A drinks reception with canaps will be followed by a four-course feast with wines to match the flavours of each course, presented by Michael. The dinner is priced at 65 per person (including wines).


15th March: Dining Club; Indian


A bold new way with modern Indian. Six sumptuous courses, 50 per person.


29th March: Art Exhibition with Helen Samuels


Celebrated Hampstead artist, Helen Samuels, will be opening her exciting new exhibition here at the hotel. All paintings will be available for purchase. A cocktail reception will be followed by an artistic dinner presented by Nick Wentworth and appropriate wines described by Simon Greenwood. Dinner is priced at 50 per person.


3rd April: Mothering Sunday


We will be celebrating this special occasion with canaps followed by a delicious lunch, at 40 per person for three courses.


24th April: Easter Sunday


We are delighted to present a special Easter Sunday Luncheon. Canaps will be followed by your choice of three sumptuous courses, at 40 per person.


May 2nd 2011 Dining Club; Provenal


Nick's take on this distinctive French cuisine, with a six-course tasting menu featuring mouth-watering flavours and lots of fresh vegetables. 50 per person.


19th June: Fathers Day


We will be offering the perfect celebration of today's occasion with a special three-course menu at 40 per person.
