Boscombe Pier is now home to an exclusive new company, Beach Golf, which is officially being launched on 2nd May. Beach Golf has been invented by husband and wife team, Tim and Clare Allen, and will encourage fun, fitness and activity within families along the South coast this summer.

Bournemouth is a great hotspot for tourists. With over 5 million people visiting the area every summer, Beach Golf looks set to be a huge success.

Beach Golf offersthe driving range thrill of strikinga golf ball in the air from a synthetic turf matt, but with the addedfun of challenging fellowbeach golfersto the highest score. A range of pointscanbescoredby aimingat the5 targetspositionedat varying distances on the sand ahead.Golf balls, clubs & scorecards will be provided to each group (up to 6 people per mat).

Director of Beach Golf, Clare Allen, commented; Weve worked long and hard for the last few months, conducting research to develop a fun and value for money experience for all.We're really excitedabout the launch of Beach Golf on Sunday 2nd May and hoping for lots of hot and sunny days this summer!

On the launch day, 2nd May, the public are invited to pop down to the site at Boscombe Pier to watch Beach Golf entrepreneur Tim, and 5 other professional golfers participate in a Beach Golf tournament.

Beach Golf is open every weekend from Sunday 2nd May between 10am and 4pm until September and every day during July and August. Itis also open during the summer half term (Monday 31st May to Friday4th June).Beach Golfcan be hired for birthdays, team building events and other special occasions.
