PUBLISHED: 14:09 14 May 2014

Visiting the south coast this May & June;

Portsmouth / London / Bournemouth / Winchester / Southampton / Isle of Wight / Bristol / Brighton

Celebrating Camp Bestival 2014’s circus theme, Team CB are super-excited to announce the ultimate in amazing events for all the family – the Camp Bestival Travelling Circus Tour!

Visiting Portsmouth, London, Bournemouth, Winchester, Southampton, Isle of Wight, Bristol and Brighton in May & June 2014 (full dates below), each event will feature the Camp Bestival DJ crew plus special guest DJs and a whole host of different amazing circus-themed activities, competitions, face painting and arts & crafts guaranteed to entertain all the family, so there’s no excuse not to round up the kids and come along to check them out!

Working closely with Big Fish Little Fish (London), Let’s Make Art (Bristol), Southampton City Art Gallery, Aspex Gallery (Portsmouth), MyMiniDisco (Brighton), Halo (Bournemouth) and Quay Arts (Isle of Wight) we’ve hand-picked the best creative minds in every town that we’ll visit to make these very special family events happen. Each leg of the tour will feature unique talents, amazing spectacles and fun-packed interactive activities to dazzle and delight.

The tour will kick off in Portsmouth at Aspex Gallery with Camp Bestival ringmaster Rob da Bank behind the wheels of steel with cool music for cool kids, a supersized ghetto-blaster, art workshops, face-painting, food & drinks, fancy dress, candyfloss and other surprises!

Once we wave goodbye to the good folks of Portsmouth, we’ll be zig-zagging across the south coast in our Travelling Circus convoy, bringing the good times to you each step of the way - juggling, pulling funny faces and doing acrobatics wherever and whenever we can. All the events are listed below - don’t forget that, as well as all the Camp Bestival magic & mayhem, we’re working with amazing local talent in these great venues so make sure you come along and join in the family fun!
